Who we are

DigiApps Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a technology solutions business operating from Street Number 25, GP Block, Sector V, Bidhannagar, Kolkata, West Bengal 700091, Kolkata, West Bengal 700091, India. We operate the website digiapps.co.in and the email identity info@digiapps.co.in. This policy describes how we handle personal information of visitors and enquirers in India, including obligations that apply to us as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and, where still relevant, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

Information we collect

When you submit a contact form, quotation request or domain enquiry we collect the details you choose to provide: name, organisation, email address, telephone number, service interest, project description, preferred contact method and similar commercial information. We also process technical data that is reasonably necessary to run a secure website, including IP address, date and time of access, browser type, device type, referring URL and security logs. We store your light/dark theme preference in the browser. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children for marketing.

Purpose of processing

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, enter into and perform a contract for technology services, keep records required for accounting, tax and dispute handling, protect the website against abuse, and improve how we communicate about our services. We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry data for unrelated third-party advertising.

Legal basis

We process enquiry data because you have asked us to contact you (your request / consent for that purpose) and because we have a legitimate interest, recognised under Indian law, in operating a professional business, preventing fraud and securing our systems. Where a later customer relationship exists, we process data as needed to perform that contract and to comply with Indian legal duties (for example books of account and tax records).

Sharing

We may share information with persons who need it to deliver our services: employees and contractors bound by confidentiality, professional advisers, and processors who host email, servers or backups, under arrangements that restrict use of the data. We may disclose information if required by Indian law, a competent court, or a lawful request by a government or law-enforcement authority. Cloud, domain and hosting suppliers involved in a project receive only what is needed to provision that service.

Storage, security and retention

Enquiry and account records are stored on systems we control or on contracted processors. We use HTTPS, access control, hashed passwords (BCrypt) for administrative accounts, JWT bearer tokens for API sessions, server-side validation, rate limiting and least-privilege access. No electronic transmission is completely secure. We retain enquiry records for as long as needed to handle the request, provide services, meet statutory record-keeping in India, and resolve disputes, and then delete or anonymise them where the law allows.

Your rights

Subject to the DPDP Act and other applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent (this will not affect processing already completed or that we must continue by law). To exercise these rights, email info@digiapps.co.in from the address we have on file or with enough detail for us to verify your identity. We may refuse a request where Indian law permits, for example where data must be kept for legal claims or statutory records.
